Boosting The MOP’s Power, Rare Craft Brews And New Species Discovered In Suriname

The Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) is a 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bomb, for which the Pentagon is requesting about $82 million dollars to make it more potent. There are about 20 that have already been developed, costing roughly $330 million.

Goose Island stout, brewed with coffee beans and aged in bourbon barrels is $12.99 a bottle. It is one of many limited edition craft brews that beer drinkers go nuts for.

It was announced this week that scientists had discovered 46 new species in Suriname in 2010.
