Henry Poole, Rin Tin Tin And Quote For The Day

Henry Poole & Company was the first tailor to set up shop on London’s famous Saville Row back in the 1840s. American account for 40 percent of their sales, with some suits costing $5,000 each. Buffalo Bill Cody and Winston Churchill both had a suit made there.

Rin Tin Tin, the famous movie star German Shepherd was referred to as “The Mortgage Lifter,” by Warner Brothers, who would release a new Rin Tin Tin movie anytime they found themselves in trouble. RTT III enlisted in the Army during World War II, sparking the first K9 Corp, and Americans were asked to part with their faithful friends to fill the roles of K9 Corpsdog in support of the war.
