Primatologist Jane Goodall
As a very young child, Ms. Goodall came upon the books about Dr. Doolittle. At the age of 11, she read about and fell in love with Tarzan, Lord Of The Apes. She moved to Africa at the age of 23, and met the famous anthropologist, Louis Leakey who offered her the opportunity to study chimpanzees. Goodall began in the field at 26.
A community of chimps is about 50 members.
